Services ranging from low volume rapid prototyping of PCBs through to very high volume mass PCB manufacturing are on offer. Prototype boards can be manufactured in three days using dedicated prototype high availability lines. Fully developed and tested designs can be mass-produced too, with a line that can automatically place up to 45,000 components an hour.

PML provides a full service to companies designing and fabricating electronic devices. At the design stage, PML's production engineers uses its considerable production engineering resources to fine-tune designs. This ensures a high quality fully developed final design that can be rapidly and repeatedly manufactured to produce finished products with high quality and reliability.

Grant Lester, PML's Managing Director, spoke enthusiastically about the new company. Financial backing and engineering skills for PML are drawn from Lester's Solutions Group (UK) plc. "We are experts at rapidly taking designs from the engineer's screen to reality and we are now offering our extensive expertise and skill to the UK electronics industry," announced Lester. "We have invested heavily in automated equipment and robots to meet customer demands for economical fabrication spanning from low volume rapid prototypes to very high volume mass production. PML is a major asset for UK design and production companies."

Eldon Lindsay, PML's Director of Sales, added: "Our investment allows us to offer a nimble and agile service fulfilling the needs of a very broad sector of UK electronics. We can handle boards populated with virtually all component types and provide a flexible and consistent service at highly competitive prices."

Lester concluded: "We are providing a 'tier I' service at a 'tier III' price – we can do this because of our major investment in the flexible and capable automated machines available. PML can confidently better the majority of turnaround times and prices because of the mix of machinery coupled with the skill and experience of our highly trained staff."

PML will be servicing clients in the UK. The company has the space and working capital to expand as it steadily grows.
